What does freeze-dried mean?
Freeze-drying is a particularly gentle process. The meat is first deep-frozen and then dried under vacuum. This preserves most of the natural nutrients, vitamins, and flavors.
Are freeze-dried snacks raw or cooked?
Freeze-dried snacks are considered raw from a nutritional point of view, as they are not heated. The gentle process ensures that the natural properties of the meat are largely preserved.
For which dogs are the snacks suitable?

How strong is the smell of freeze-dried snacks?

Why are freeze-dried snacks more expensive than regular dog treats?
Freeze-drying is a very complex process. A production batch takes around 24 hours. During this process, around 70 percent of the water is removed from the product, while its structure, nutrients, and flavor are largely retained. The process requires a lot of energy and modern equipment, which is why production is significantly more complex than for traditional, highly processed dog snacks. However, the original quality of the raw materials is retained and the snack is particularly nutritious and natural.
